Tainley Family

The Tainley clan arrived in this region with the legions of the Namori Empire that subjugated and ruled Haven and its surrounding territories for many years. The family has an illustrious military tradition, and its far-flung descendants control lands in many corners of the Three Continents. The Haven branch of the family is of comparatively minor stature when stacked against some of its distant relatives, like the Taindoora’s (the hereditary absolute rulers of the mountain-ringed lands of Laja Dara), or the Princess-Generals of the female-dominated realm of Quesan.

Nonetheless, the Tainleys have prospered in Haven for seven centuries, surviving the ebb and flow of the Empire (and more recently, the decline of the aristocracy as a whole). Currently, the Tainleys include not only men-of-arms, but also masters of the arcane arts and defenders of the soul.

In addition to their daTenley Tainley, and his wife Stella have one daughter, Byelaya. In addition, the family is fostering three others, Antonio Berensten, Kaspar Bunder, and Taramilla.

The family’s home in Haven is located in The The Heights.

Private

Of interest is the fact that Lady Byelaya disappeared three months ago. There was no ransom note so many believe she simply ran away. Descriptions of the 18 year old (beautiful, medium height, slender, brown hair, blue eyes) have been nosed about and the family is offering a reward of 1,000gp for news of her. The girl was always known as a loner by the other maidens of the The Heights; she had only one close friend - Cortina de la Riis.
