# General Info
A muscularly built young man with long, shaggy blond hair and a bushy moustache, Antonio is one of [[person/tenley-tainley|Tenley Tainley]]'s wards. He has been here in Haven for almost three years, and has become a major figure in the [[organization/young-stallions|Young Stallions]] movement. He possesses immense personal charisma, and fervently believes in the righteousness of their cause. 
 
 Antonio's heart is beset with great inner turmoil, however, for he has fallen madly in love with [[person/marita-maggia|Marita Maggia]], the daughter of one of his staunchest Guild opponents. The two have sworn their love to each other, and are trying to find a cleric willing to marry them secretly (see [[article/scenarios|Scenarios]]: The Secret Ceremony). 
 
In the meantime, Antonio lives a double life, and has begun to show external signs of strain - a haggard look to the eyes, a growing habit of nervously drumming his fingers on his sword belt, impatience with some of his colleagues. [[person/paul-de-la-riis|Paul de la Riis]], his closest friend, suspects that something is seriously wrong with Antonio, and has begun to keep a closer eye on the latter's activities - this of course makes it even harder for Antonio and Marita to see another, even for a few moments. 
 
 Antonio is oblivious to the fact that [[person/taramilla|Taramilla]] of Seki, also a Tainley ward, has become hopelessly infatuated with him. 
 
 Antonio wears [[landmark/the-green|The Green]] cloak and brooch of the Stallions, but does not go in for the elaborate accessories favored by some of the others (walking sticks, plumed hats, etc.) In the past, Antonio always wore a pendant in the shape of a small golden claw (his family's insignia) on formal occasions; he has given this pendant to Marita as a troth of his love. There are some (close friend [[person/paul-de-la-riis|Paul de la Riis]] or Margery Savonna) who may take note of its absence, and ask Antonio discomforting questions about its whereabouts; of course, if other Maggia were to come upon it in Marita's possession . . . (50% chance he is with other Stallions when encountered)
