Effects

The potion gives superior night vision. The imbiber sees the creature’s heat as a bright orange outline and is effective out to 100 feet. The bigger the creature, the larger the orange shape.

The brightness depends on how warm the creature is relative to the background temperature, with cold-blooded creatures either invisible or very faintly visible if they still have some daytime heat stored in their bodies.
