2. Player Options

Playable Classes

The following classes are available for players in this campaign.

• Barbarian
• Cleric
• Fighter
• Paladin
• Physician
• Ranger
• Rogue
• Sorcerer
• Warlock
• Wizard

Note: Don’t worry if nobody wants to be a healer, I have an NPC Physician ready to step in.

Playable Races

The following races are available for players in this campaign:

• Dwarf
• Elf (excluding Drow)
• Gnome
• Halfling
• Half-Elf
• Half-Orc
• Human
• Tiefling

There are other races in Haven: Avanthar, Centaur, Goliath, Goblin, Troll and the odd Pixie.

Alignment

Since you are all members of the City Watch, the following alignments are fine.

• Lawful Good
• Lawful Neutral
• Neutral Good
• Neutral

If you can make a case for another alignment that doesn’t involve somehow shafting the party or another player I’ll consider it.

Spells

I’ll be reviewing the spells to see if there’s anything I foresee as world wrecking but don’t expect to find any. Also note that the Physician has two class-specific spells.

Leveling Up

I expect to be using the milestone method of leveling, at least initially. This means that you will gain a level at set point in the plot. However, I don’t know yet how this will work out if you choose to ignore my plotting and follow your own ;-)
