As we go outside the gates, we find a servant type who seems to have been waiting fors. Master Tainley would like to meets. We follow him to the Tainley mansion.
We are escorted to thesual waiting area and are joined by Lord and Lady Tainley.
“I don’t know how to approach this subject, it is rather embarrassing”
Our daughter disappeared a while ago. Back towards the beginning of the year, five months or so ago. Nobody saw her going away. She took some clothes and left. She’s lets know she wasn’t happy in her life and wanted to break away. ”
“Stella felt we should let her be. And now with these other disappearances we don’t know. ”
Eugene points out that there are some similarities but also some differences.
They want to at least know she is safe and happy.
As best as they can tell the letters are coming from Haven, but that could be through a courier.

Her best friend was Cortina de la Riis (one of Harz and Claudia’s three children).
If we find her, please pass along that we miss her, and hope she is safe and is welcome back home whenever she wants. Stella says to tell her that her brother calls her “Byebye”
We leave with another item for the stack.
We talk about how to start looking. If Penelope was abducted, she would wait for an opening. If Arada was trying to smuggle someone out she wouldn’tse the gate, she would go towards the river, probably Lombard to the docks. We also think Jillie would have have gone down Lombard to Nobles Way to the centaur taxis.
Arada thinks there is annderstanding that the Hand is a bunch of quasi-independent groups working together. We don’t think they are in the Labyrinth or North Corridor. Martin thinks it could be the docks. Turin points out they could be hidden on a ship.
At the base of Lombard, Martin tries to Locate Object in the bracelet Martin gave to Jullie. They cover the area from the Heights to North Corridor and a second chance from the Commons to the South Docks, but nothing pings.
We decide to go back to the Griffon to plan for tomorrow and to wait for the head of Maggia security. Porky tells Arada there is a package for herp in her room. While she checks that, Lyza says we need to talk, something bad has happened.
So it turns out we have caused some trouble. Swiftsword got wind of what is going on. He says someone is accusings of kidnapping the girl. He’s planning on taking it to the council. We tell her as an aside we have talked to the Maggia family and their head of security is supposed to gives a debrief.
We also told Lyza that we think Jillie has also been abducted, though she is leery of that.
Georgio enters. We give him anpdate.
He tellss Marita was seen at Pierre’s for her hair appointment, and disappeared after that. She may have gone from there anywhere and gotten jumped. We discuss the case a bit.
We discuss what to do for a while. Scanning is an option, but it is limited. We discuss beating the bushes to check our networks to see if anyone has heard anything.
We also show images of the Pirate lady and the tattooed man to Georgio to see if he recognizes them. We also ask if he’s talked to any of her friends. There was someone in the horse market. Agatha Ravenwood. It was Agatha all along.
So the plan is to check the Dell for Jillie, scan part of the city tomorrow, check in with our networks, have Georgio find Agatha, and find the women.
Before bed, Martin, Eugene, Arada, and Penelope head to the Dell to see if Jillie made it. We make it to Jillie’s house on Hillandale. It is a traditional hillside with round doors. Jillie answers the door and wonders why we are there. She says she didn’t go to work because her mother is sick and she’s been looking after her all day.
Eugene is a little leery and casts detect thoughts on Jillie. Martin determines she has pneumonia or the medieval equivalent. Martin stays behind to heal her in the morning while the party goes back to the Griffon.
When they get back to the Griffon, Arada asks Eugene to see if the vest she got as a package is magic. It is, but he also knows it is beyond his abilities to identify. Arada decides to try to attune to it anyhow with the caveat that if it eats her soul Penelope will punch her out.
