We were patrolling the Heights when a woman frantically beggeds to chase the winged thing that took her baby “Billy”. We got some horses and gave chase.

Part way there, we passed a narrow canyon opening and saw a bag that we all figured was an ambush. Sure enough, we were “ambushed”by 6 angry goblins. We quickly took care of them, though Eugene was knocked out by a goblin arrow. Martin healed him though.

We followed the baby and came to a canyon trail. We followed switchbacksp to a hill that needed to be climbed. We heard some strange noises as we made our wayp the hill which sounded like birds and some kind of canine. Turin looked in the nest and saw three griffon hatchlings and a small dog. Martin had guessed the baby was a dog. Eugene slept the baby griffons and we discussed what to do . We grabbed the dog and rode back to town. The woman gave a small polished agate in thanks. She said it will brings good luck.
