The night passes and the next morning we ready ourselves to go home.

On the ride home, Turin who was in front notices in the distance a group of creatures that look like kobolds. They are near what looks like a demoncorn.

We sneak into position, and Turin launches a Hail of Thorns. It does significant damage to the group of the kobolds, killing several. Martin creates a spiritual weapon killing another.

The boss misses Martin with a bow shot, as Eugene had foreseen. The undead unicorn flees, and a hidden kobold hits Penelope. Arada dispatches it with extreme lethality. Penelope rushes up. Several kobolds hit her with their slings, but she kills one in retribution. Eugene uses a magic missile to kill two more. Six seconds in and we’ve managed to uneven the odds.

Turin kills the boss kobold and hears a voice in his head “Now would be a good time”. An arrow out of nowhere kills another kobold.

Martin heals Penelope and Arada sticks the one with her rapier, hitting it in the “explode here” spot. The last two kobolds make a valiant stand, that is very ineffective. Eugene sleeps the last one so we can interrogate it.

The kobolds had crap on them, except for the boss who had a scimitar, javelin, chain shirt, and shield. I. e. slightly better crap.

Martin heals Arada and Penelope as we interrogate the kobold.
