Of the Firstborn, Nenya is considered to be the most capricious. She has always been at odds with her siblings, and is viewed by them as an outsider. Her worshipers are often wanderers, and the few temples she has are built in port cities and serve as respites before long sea journeys. Her worshipers believe that life is harsh and often unfair and are said to look for the worst. That said, they usually gain the most enjoyment from the good times.
It is considered disrespectful to not have a shrine to her aboard a ship, and most sailors will not leave beyond sight of the shoreline on any ship that does not have one.
Her gift to the races of man was the storm, to make them stronger through survival.
Her holy symbol is a cloud with a lightning bolt through it.
