```col-mdflexGrow=2.5===# OutlineThe mine is about a day and a half's journey north from Oakridge. As evening approaches, the party can set up a camp near the road. Shortly after, a group (5) of rough-looking individuals come into view, clearly ==sellswords== by their appearance and weapons. Attracted by the campfire, they ask if they can join for the warmth.If the party refuses, these eager-for-conflict sellswords quickly turn hostile, initiating a fight. If welcomed, however, the sellswords sit with the party, engaging in light conversation. They inquire about the party's plans and destination, offering unsolicited advice to steer clear of the mine due to the rumoured dangers lurking there.Though the conversation starts off friendly enough, an underlying tension is evident. Eventually, a small argument over a seemingly minor issue breaks out, leading to a scuffle between the party and the sellswords. After the party handles the situation, they discover a message on one of the sellswords. It reads, > [!read-aloud] **Read Aloud** > > "They are heading to the mine. Act swiftly!" --- TThe simple signature, "T", leaves the party with questions about who might be behind this warning.### Loot The party can find 45 golds, weapons, and armour on their bodies.``````col-md![[plots/mine-your-own-business/table-of-contents]]![[~attachments/dndline.png]]```
