# General Info
Martin is quieter and more perceptive than the rest of his kin.  He is still very nimble, just not nimble for a halfling.  He has always had an affinity for nature and helping his community, and has a devotion to Narconal beyond that of a normal farmer.  More than anything, he believes in helping his community. He recognizes that not all share his belief, and his role is not to prevent others from acting on their own desires but rather to be an example of how to lead a good life.
 
His parents still work the farm, as do his two older brothers and their wives who each have a cottage on the farm for their families. His younger sister still lives at home with his parents, and when he became an adult, his father suggested he move to the city to make his life there. His cousin's wife's father's friend was able to get him into the town guard.  (He has about 25 cousins/uncles/etc family members who live in town). He is currently dating Jillie Ferndew, a halfling woman who is an apprentice baker. The two have discussed marriage, particularly after a pregnancy scare (false alarm), but for now they are taking it slow.
