# General Info
A greatly renowned warrior, and the best fighter amongst the [[organization/brotherhood-of-the-broken-blade|Brotherhood of the Broken Blade]] by far, Kynnik became fascinated with the saga of the blade some years ago, and sees the ultimate rescue mission as a way to engrave his name in the history books forever. In large part because of his overweening personal ambition, Kynnik was highly disappointed when the blade failed to respond in his hands (but of course his impure motives doomed him before he tried). 
 
 Despite this failure, his brain swarms with schemes to use the eventual "chosen one" as a tool to gain the highest glory for himself. [[person/coppin-oxblood|Coppin Oxblood]] and [[person/tolbin-ironhand|Tolbin Ironhand]] both suspect Kynnik's motives and keep a watchful eye on him, but they believe the Brotherhood cannot afford to lose a man of his fighting skill. 
 
 Kynnik will never be the one who initially brings in a candidate to take the test; but he may play a pivotal role in the actual expedition, and will try to make himself the trusted best friend of the person who finally lays claim to Waarhite.
