# General Info
A slender, dark-haired, dark-complexioned man of later years. He is a prominent horse trader, maintaining large sets of stables in the [[settlement/horse-market|Horse Market]]; his stables are the only ones capable of giving the Varrasches a run for the title of biggest dealer. 
 
 Darankis gets his horses from the herds of the Golden Plateau, by trading with the nomads, breaking and training them in Haven; his charges for draining are comparable with most of the other trainers (350-600gp).
