This brightly garbed, and well-armored unit is the only formal military unit in the City. While technically a regiment, their strength is more that of a platoon with about 20 troops. The Guard is the historical protectors of the sanctity of Trade Island from a time when the region was a wilderness backwater in the former empire.
In addition to guarding The Citadel, they also patrol Trade Island and act as a local Watch. And though they are funded by the city, the Guard is not part of the Haven City Watch.
