The Calendar

The calendar as commonly used across the Confederation of the Ten Cities consists of 12 months of 28 days. After each three-month period there is a week-long festival “month” inserted, resulting in a year that is 364 days long.

The year 1 was declared upon the founding of the 2nd Namori Empire which came at the end of its westward expansion. Because of this the year is sometimes suffixed “2E”.

Days of the Week:

  • Starday: First day of the week
  • Sunday:
  • Moonday:
  • Godsday:
  • Waterday:
  • Eathday:
  • Freeday: the last day of the week, traditionally a day of rest but not always observed as such any more
